The amazing colors and patterns incorporated into Aditi + Field's wedding have us drooling! Field rode in on a horse, they had a floral decorated stage for their nuptials, and all their guests were dressed to the nines. There is nothing to dislike! We chatted with Aditi briefly to hear about her big day. Enjoy the pictures and her sweet answers!
There are so many wonderful and beautiful weddings here at Mercury Hall. It seems that each couple out does the next. But we always love a simple wedding where the couple's joy shines through! That's how we feel about Allison + Ryan's wedding. From the elegant cake table to the beautiful sunset lighting -- the simplicity tells the best story!
One of our favorite weddings to flip through images of — Phuong and Andy’s Mercury Hall wedding was the perfect mix of whimsy + tropics. The amazing team of vendors made it all possible and we’re honored they chose our venue to pull it together. It’s been featured on Junebug Weddings (eek!) and you can read the full post here.
We think Mercury Hall is one of the best outdoor wedding venues in Austin (of course we do, right?). It affords a versatility to events that allows the client’s personality to really shine through. We love Heather + Scott’s fall wedding with bright accents + sweet details. Hear more from Heather below!
Weddings aren’t the only thing we do at Mercury Hall. There are corporate events, nonprofits, private parties and others that often fly under the radar. However, we cannot believe that we have not yet shared with you this amazing event shot by Julie Wilhite Photography from the Macallan whisky tasting event they hosted at Mercury Hall in October!
The First Dance is a sweet tradition that most couples include in their wedding. We see a lot of wedding traditions go out the window, but the First Dance continues to make it’s appearance! It’s a unique time for the couple to celebrate the promises they just made – not to mention, it’s great for them to have a little alone time on the dance floor!
I’ve always had lofty ideas of inviting over my closest family and friends for a spring backyard BBQ. The adults would chat and sip on their drinks while the kids ran around and played with hula-hoops and bubbles in the grass. The spring flowers would be brightly bloomed and the string lights overhead would make everything glisten. We would all share some BBQ, as the band gets ready to play country music (our friends just so happen to be in a country band) so that we can two-step the night away.
Wedding ceremonies are such a beautiful tradition: walking down the aisle with family and friends, the exchanging of vows, and a kiss to start off the marriage. We know that most of the wedding planning focus is on the wedding reception and not so much the ceremony, so we want to offer a little help for making your ceremony look really beautiful!
If you’re engaged right now, chances are you’re not alone in trying to plan your dream wedding. Whether, the date is just around the corner in April or May or if you have a few months until your Fall wedding, you are all busy figuring out details and making sure the day is just how you want it and we want to help inspire you with colors!
This year the 2016 Pantone color is a mix of a romantic and warm Rose Quartz and a calm and reflective Serenity Blue.
We see so many different vendors come through the doors at Mercury Hall, so we thought it was time to introduce you to some of our favorites!
This week's Vendor Spotlight is on Gypsy Floral & Events!

SXSW is upon us! That means people have flooded the city -- and they’re probably your friends! Mercury Hall is located just perfectly outside of the craziness of SXSW, but still in one of the best areas of town. What makes it one of the best areas of town? Well, not only can you find awesome murals painted on the sides of buildings, but you can find some of the best local restaurants. Let us help you impress your friends.
It feels like spring has sprung here in Austin, all these 75 degree days are just too beautiful to handle.
I’m ready for sunny skies every day, the smell of freshly blooming flowers when I walk outside, and the warm (but not too warm!) weather. Not to mention, I’m ready for all the fun weddings!
Spring is one of my favorite seasons for weddings. You don’t have to search for inspiration -- the fresh flowers are springing up all over the place and I love it when brides take advantage of that! Bright pinks and salmons and yellows flood the wedding scene in spring, making for statement weddings that you can’t get out of your mind.
Check it out, friends! Valerie + Jonathan's Wedding at Mercury Hall this past November is featured on the Green Wedding Shoes blog today! This Marfa inspired wedding was pulled together by the ever so talented Cortney over at BZ Events. I must say I was particularly in LOVE with the arrangements done by Articulture. They were jaw-dropping cool. Photographed by the lovely Katherine O'Brien. Check out the full posting here @ http://greenweddingshoes.com/a-desert-inspired-wedding-valerie-jonathan/.
